Adolescent Substance Use
Conditions · Adolescent Substance Use
Children as young as ten are presenting with addiction symptoms.
Early intervention changes the trajectory of a young life. This is one of the most urgent parts of our work.
A dedicated youth programme
Adolescents aged 15–17 presenting with early-stage substance use are seen through a dedicated youth programme, always with parental or guardian consent. Where residential care becomes necessary, minors are housed separately from adult clients, in an age-appropriate setting.
Parental / guardian consent
No adolescent is admitted or treated without written consent from a parent or guardian.
Age-appropriate care
Separate, dedicated spaces and programming for minors — never mixed with adult residential care.
School outreach
Prevention-focused engagement in primary and secondary schools across the service area.
Family-centred
Parents and guardians are brought into treatment planning, not left on the outside of it.
